Terms of Service
Effective November 1, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the EntryCert website and software (the "Service"). EntryCert is operated by Zhe Li, an individual doing business as EntryCert ("EntryCert", "we", "us"). By using the Service or buying a plan, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.
1. What the Service is
EntryCert is a data-preparation software tool. It helps you organize information you supply into formats used for U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) eFiling under 16 CFR part 1110, including draft certificate documents (CPC/GCC), Product Registry CSV files and broker data sheets, and it checks files against published CPSC formatting rules. It also publishes general reference information summarized from public CPSC sources.
2. What the Service is not
- We are not a law firm, licensed customs broker, testing laboratory, CPSC-accepted third-party lab, or government agency, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by the CPSC or U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
- We do not test products, certify products, issue certificates on your behalf, file entries with CPSC or CBP, or give legal, regulatory, or customs advice.
- We do not guarantee that any product complies with any law, that any certificate or filing is complete or accepted, or that any shipment will clear customs.
3. Your responsibilities
You (the importer or domestic manufacturer) are the certifier. You are solely responsible for determining which rules apply to your products, obtaining required testing, the accuracy and completeness of all data you enter or upload, reviewing every output before use, and every certificate and filing you make. Checker results and suggested citation codes are starting points, not determinations; confirm them against your lab reports, CPSC guidance and qualified advisors. You must not use the Service to create false or misleading certificates.
4. Accounts, purchases and payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Rotermanni 14, 10111 Tallinn, Estonia). Creem is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Creem processes your payment, calculates and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt and invoice, and handles billing support and refunds. The charge on your card statement will reference Creem (for example "CREEM.IO*") and/or EntryCert. Prices are shown on our Pricing page in U.S. dollars. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled; you can cancel any time through the customer portal link in your Creem receipt email or by contacting us, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
5. Your content
You keep all rights to the data you enter and the files you open in the tools ("Your Content"). The tools process Your Content in your own browser; it is not uploaded to us. You confirm you have the right to use it. Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful use, fraud, attempts to break or overload the Service, scraping at abusive rates, reverse engineering paid features, or reselling the Service without our written permission.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design and original content belong to EntryCert. Public government materials we summarize remain public. Output files generated from Your Content are yours to use.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Regulations, codes and government file formats change; reference content may be out of date.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENTRYCERT AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, PENALTIES, FINES, DETAINED, REFUSED OR SEIZED SHIPMENTS, STORAGE OR DEMURRAGE CHARGES, RECALLS, OR LOSS OF DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify EntryCert and its operator against claims arising from your products, your certificates and filings, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms.
11. Changes and termination
We may change the Service or these Terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We may suspend access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Governing law and disputes
Please contact us first at csvledger@mail.grokbot.com; most issues, including billing, can be resolved quickly, and payment disputes and refunds can also be handled through Creem as Merchant of Record. These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding the laws of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally within 30 days will be submitted to the competent people's court at the operator's place of domicile in Zhejiang Province, China. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the country or state where you live, including the right to bring a claim in your local courts where that law requires it.
